Artemis was the daughter of Zeus and Leto. She is known as the goddess of the moon, hunting and nursing . Artemis had a twin brother whose name was Apollo who was the known as the sun god. Both her and her brother were known as protectors and assisting young children. Artemis was a goddess who was proud of being a virgin. This goddess was known as "the stag killer" because of her gifted and talented hunting performance with a bow and arrow. She also was known for curing animals and young girls, however whoever disobeyed her would feel her wrath.
My reasons as to why I picked this god is because she is an example of how young girls should have self-respect.Unlike the other gods she didn't have various children and preserved the gift of chasity.
